Music therapy is a type of intervention for a variety of mental and physical challenges and conditions. It is based on the results of research studies and clinical reviews. Goals of music therapy depend on the needs of the individual as well as the setting where the music therapy is taking place. A credentialed music therapist conducts music therapy sessions where clients participate in music-related activities to enhance their physical and mental well-being.
