We are a team of highly educated, accredited and experienced psychotherapists, psychologists, counselors, relationship counselors and life coaching therapists (with PhD’s and Master’s degrees in psychology). Our team is equipped and passionate about helping with any emotional and mental ealth issues as well as personal and professional needs. Margaret Amooti Tumusiime, Founder & Executive Director

Margie is a counseling specialist providing psychotherapy services in English, luganda and runyakitara. If you are experiencing emotional or relational difficulties in the context of change, transition or significant life events we can help you. Margie is a warm, friendly and engaging lady who is very skilled at connecting with individuals and families from a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences. As a widely exposed professional, Margie has first-hand experience of the joys and challenges of living an inter-cultural life. Margie has worked in both the public and private mental health sectors in Uganda. She is a specialist mental health clinician and systemic family therapist whose qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with Education and A Master of Science in Counseling Psychology & other certificates in child & adolescent counseling, biblical counseling, leadership, public speaking and psychometric testing and evaluations among others. She has worked in the public mental health sector for most of her career. Her expertise includes working with individuals of all ages, couples and families affected by a range of psychological concerns.

Margie also draws on (eclectic model of treatment) a number of other theoretical approaches including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis, expressive, attachment based therapy (ABFT) and structural therapy among others depending on the case being addressed.
